Sound Imagined. Experience Engineered.

Mastering the
Science of Sound

We close the gap between what a space is designed to look like and what it is engineered to sound like — so the two are never a compromise, only ever a match.

Who We Are

Global Acoustic Solutions was built around a simple frustration: acoustics is almost always the last discipline consulted and the first one blamed. We fixed that by keeping architects and acoustic engineers under the same roof, on the same drawings, from day one — so nothing gets diagnosed after the walls are already up. One in-house team carries a project from the first blueprint through execution, testing, and final commissioning, which means every sonic decision is made deliberately, not discovered during a punch-list walkthrough.

The geometry we're handed varies wildly — a sweeping institutional dome one month, a hushed meditation hall or a millimetre-tolerant listening studio the next — but the discipline underneath stays the same: solve the physics of the specific room in front of us, at whatever budget the project actually has, rather than reaching for the same treatment twice.

Our Vision

To build environments where architectural ambition and acoustic precision are never treated as trade-offs — where the sound of a space is engineered with the same intent as its structure, so every room performs exactly as it was imagined to look.

Our Mission

To replace acoustic guesswork with rigorous, evidence-based engineering — carrying every client from first concept to final commissioning so the finished space measures up to the same standard its blueprints promised, on budget and without diluting the design.

Read Detailed Description

Too often, acoustics gets treated as a rival to visual design — bolted on at the eleventh hour, cluttering a room's aesthetic with panels nobody asked for. We start from the opposite assumption.

We take the architectural vision exactly as handed to us and engineer the acoustic solution to disappear inside it. Think of us as acoustic diagnosticians, not bandage-sellers: we read the symptoms, isolate the specific acoustic fault of the space, and prescribe a cure sized to that fault — never a generic, one-size-fits-all treatment.

Bring us in during the planning stage, and your architecture stays untouched while the room quietly learns to behave.

Our Comprehensive Services

Our fee structure stays modest and transparent throughout — what scales with a project is the rigor of the analysis and the completeness of the execution behind it, not the invoice.

Our Approach: The Value We Add

Good acoustics was never about how many panels you can fit on a wall — it's a discipline built on physics, geometry, and how the human brain actually perceives sound.

Architectural Applications

Our engineering scales to suit any structural geometry and acoustic requirement. Select a category below to explore the specific problem each space creates, and the acoustic properties we deploy to solve it.

Engineering Technologies

As a specialized consultancy, we design treatments using four foundational acoustic pillars based on rigorous physical principles.

Absorption

Converting sound energy to heat via friction. Porous, membrane, and tuned-resonator absorbers engineered to hit 88–100% absorption across the specific RT60 bands each room actually needs controlled.

Diffusion

Scattering reflections using quadratic-residue and poly-curved slat geometries to distribute energy uniformly — preserving the liveliness of a room without letting it collapse into echo.

Insulation

Attenuating airborne sound via high-density mass and airtight seals. Applying the Mass Law across doors, walls, and glazing to push Transmission Loss up toward 60 dB where a space genuinely needs to go silent.

Isolation

Preventing structure-borne vibration through physical decoupling. Floating floors and "room-in-room" builds that structurally separate a space from the building around it, stopping low-frequency energy at the source.

Project Requirements

To initiate a precise acoustic analysis and begin designing a tailored solution, we require the following inputs from the client or lead architect:

Primary Inputs

Standard CAD layouts (floor plans, elevations, sections) and 3D SketchUp models.

Alternative Inputs

If technical drawings are unavailable, accurate room dimensions, conceptual reference images, and photographs detailing current site conditions.

Premium Collaborations

Execution quality is only as good as the materials behind it. We vet every manufacturing partner against our own engineering standards before a single panel reaches site, prioritizing materials that offer:

  • Scientifically Validated Performance: Accurate, frequency-dependent absorption (α) and Transmission Loss data, not just inflated single-number NRC/STC ratings.

  • Advanced Material Engineering: High-density, viscoelastic properties for superior insulation, and precisely engineered porosity for absorption.

  • Sustainable & Flexible Solutions: Adaptable form factors to meet diverse architectural and budget requirements.

  • Aesthetic Integration: Treatments that complement the visual design without compromising the physics of sound.
